ACT

Juniors and seniors planning to attend a four-year college or university after high school may be required to take the ACT for admission. Registration is done online and can be accessed here.

Fees:

ACT (no writing) $63

ACT (with writing) $88

If you are interested in taking an ACT prep course, please see Mrs. Huber for details. Prep courses are typically offered in October, December, and February. The program utilized is OnToCollege, and materials are provided. In addition to the materials covered during prep sessions, students will be expected to complete work outside of school.

TIP: Haven't taken the ACT before? Take it for the first time to see how it goes, experience the testing process, and then once you have your results decide what subject to focus your studies. Did you know it is recommended to take the ACT at least three times?

Note: Many colleges/universities have adopted a "test optional" admission process, meaning entrance exams (i.e., ACT) is not required for admission. However, there is still a benefit to take the exam! Schools can use student's ACT scores to award additional merit scholarships.
