Upcoming events: Playoff games, Veteran's Day, and potential schedule change November 14th

Tri-Center Family,

We have had an exciting Fall at Tri-Center, and it is not over yet.

🏈 November 8th

Football Playoff game at AC-GC High School in Guthrie Center at 7:00 p.m.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² November 11th

Veterans Day. We will have a ceremony in the HS gym at 10:15 a.m. featuring our very own Dustan Huber as the speaker. All Veterans are welcome to attend and eat lunch with us afterward.

πŸ¦ƒ November 13th

Our annual Thanksgiving Meal at the school! This is the good news; the bad news is that we CANNOT accomodate parents or outside guests for the meal that day. Sorry! We are short-handed in the kitchen and have been trying to find people that want to work. If you or someone you know would be interested in working a 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. shift in the lunchroom, please reach out to Tracy Wellman at twellman@tctrojans.org.

❔ November 14th is a day we will not have school WHEN we win this Friday. When TC wins this Friday over AC-GC, we would play at the Dome at UNI in Cedar Falls either at 10 a.m. or 1. p.m on the 14th. Please start planning for this possibility.

❄️ And while we are talking about possible no school days, I want to remind everyone that WINTER IS COMING. Please make sure you have plans B, C and D in place if/when we have to have late starts, early dismissals or no school because of the weather. Please keep in mind that our district covers a ton of area, so your street might look pretty good and someone else on the other side of the district can't get out of their driveway. I make the best decision I can given the information I have, and the only thing I can guarantee is that I am human and will call school some day when we could probably have had it. Additionally, you, as parents, always have the final say if your child is on snowy roads on any particular day. All we ask is you let us know if your child won't be here--because we do worry, and some days we worry A LOT!

Thanks, in advance, for your support.
