TC to the Dome: Game information, No School November 14th
Greetings Tri-Center Fans,
Tri-Center football will take on Saint Ansgar on Thursday, November 14th at 1:00 in the State Football Class A Semifinals at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
This week’s schedule:
- Tuesday, November 12th
- Regular school day
- 7:00 p.m. Autograph Session in cafetorium
- 7:30 p.m. Community Pep Rally in the HS gym featuring players and coaches
- Wednesday, November 13th
- Regular school day
- Thursday, November 14th
- NO SCHOOL
- JH Boys Basketball vs AHSTW is moved to Friday
- JH Girls wrestling at Lo-Ma - TBD
- State Semifinal Football game vs Saint Ansgar 1:00 p.m.
- Friday, November 15th
- Regular school day
- JH Boys Basketball vs AHSTW at 4:15
Pep Bus:
- Pete Sorenson of Neola Farm Bureau has sponsored a pep bus for Thursday’s game!
- Permission forms are available in the school offices. Permission form: TRI-CENTER HIGH SCHOOL PARENT PERMISSION and INFORMATION FOR PEP BUS
- Seats will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. To sign up, students must have a signed permission slip. Students may sign up in the MS office starting at 8:00 am on Tuesday.
- We have room for 30 passengers in one bus, and the possibility of adding a second bus should we get enough riders.
- Students riding the bus will be responsible for purchasing a ticket online or at the box office.
- If we do not get enough 6-12th graders signed up, we may open it up for younger passengers who will need to be accompanied by an adult.
- Transportation will be on a regular school bus.
- Leave time will be 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. The bus will leave promptly at 7:30 am on Thursday.
- There will be one stop each way.
- Bus will depart Cedar Falls immediately following the game.
- Approximate return time is 7:30-8:00 p.m.

Tickets:
- Tickets are available for purchase here: https://unitix.evenue.net/events/HSSEMI
- Tickets can be purchased in-person at UNI-Dome ticket windows. This will allow fans to purchase tickets without the $5 online order fee applied.
- Tickets for IHSAA’s football semifinals and finals are $12.50 each: $10 ticket plus a $2.50 fee applied by UNI for parking.
Streaming Information:
All semifinal games will air on the IHSSN Cable Network and streamed at IHSSN.com and the Watch IHSSN App.
You can view the stream by purchasing either a Semifinal Pass (which gets you all 14 semifinal games) or an individual Game Pass. Both passes include streaming on two devices concurrently and a 30-day rental.
Game Day Guidelines:
- Re-Entry: No re-entry is allowed. If you leave the venue, you must purchase a new ticket to return.
- Seating: Tri-Center fans will sit on the west side of the bleachers. The first row is reserved and unavailable for seating.
- Prohibited Items:
- No artificial noisemakers, signs, banners, or “fatheads” (large player photos).
- Small “Homer Hankies” (approximately 11” x 16”) and pom-poms (without sticks) are allowed.
- Dress Code: Shirts and shoes are required. Body paint is not a substitute for a shirt. Masks and helmets are not allowed.
UNI Clear Bag Policy:
- UNI has implemented a clear bag policy for all athletic events at the UNI-Dome and McLeod Center. Clear bags made of plastic, vinyl or PVC that do not exceed a 12 x 6 x 12 inch size will be permitted, as well as one-gallon, resealable, clear plastic storage bags.
- Small bags that are not clear but do not exceed a size 4.5 x 6.5 inches will also be allowed.
- Prohibited bags include purses, backpacks, printed pattern plastic bags, tinted plastic bags, duffle bags, fanny packs, reusable grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, large totes and cases (for camera, binoculars, etc.).
- An exception may be made for some prohibited items for medical necessity after proper inspection at the gate.
Other Important Notes:
- Food/Beverage: No outside food or drinks are allowed.
- Smoking: Smoking on the UNI campus is prohibited. Violators will receive citations without warnings.
